1st Day
The first day we take the costal road to Corinth
and Argolis. We visit Myceane and stay for overnight
in Nafplion. With total flexibility to see the
area.
2nd Day
Depart from Naflion through Tripolis and Megalopolis arrive in
Olympia. Visiting all important places around.
Dinner and overnight in Olympia.
3rd Day
The morning of 3th day we have two options: retour to Athens or to
continue 5 more days schedule as shown below.
From Olympia, through Patras, take the ferry-boat
to Rio and Nafpaktos with its historical sea-battle
of the 17th century arrive in Delphi. Home of the
God Apollo.
Staying for overnight and dinner in Arachova.
4th Day
Driving North through beautiful forest and mountains Amfissa, Lamia,
Kalambaka and finally the Rocky Forest of Greece: the Meteora.
They are believed to have been formed 60 million years ago.
5th Day
From Thessaly plain, further is the city of Trikala
and Larissa. We arrive in Thessaloniki the second biggest city of
Greece and capital of province Macedonia. We see
the most interested parts of the Ancient and Byzantine
city.
6th Day
A day-trip from Thessalonica to East in Amfipolis,
Kavala, Philippi we come back
in Thessalonica evening time. Dinner and rest.
7th Day
Another day-trip to West Macedoia, Pella the ancient
capital of Alexander the Great. Macedonian ancients
cities, with tombs and monuments, like Aristotle's lyceum
in Naoussa, ancient Mieza.
Return in Thessalonica at our hotel.
8th Day
Driving from North to South through Larissa, Lamia in Athens a
stop only at Thermopylae where the statue of King
Leonidas stands.
