In this 4-hrs private Athens sightseeing tour, we take you in comfort and safety in Athens, to see the most significant city of the western civilization. The experienced and knowledgeable driver-guide, will pick you up, from the exit of the arrivals hall, and give you a special and personalized to your interests tour. Including the Acropolis, the Greek parliament and Panathenaic stadium, venue of the first Olympic Games, Hadrian's Arch, Zeus temple, Syntagma sq. etc. Enjoy the fantastic site of the marble Panathinaic stadium, with it's brilliant architecture, that still accommodates 70 thousand people (when special events). The Parliament house and the change of the Efzones Guard, is a not to miss attraction. The Hadrians arch and just beside, the colonnade of the gigantic Zeus temple.

See the Academy of Athens with the the statues of the two most prominent Athenians: Plato and Socrates, in front of the classic Ionic order marble building. If you have more time to spend, while in transit flight, add more of Athens beauties in your trip. The amazing view of the Lycabettus panorama, is breathtaking and highly suggested. The Lycabettus hill, is rising 320 meters high, right inmiddle of Athens and offers amazing panoramic view. In the new Acropolis museum you can see the treasures of the Greek civilization and archaeological exhibits.

What to expect

Your driver-guide will wait for you at the exit of the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name on, to meet and greet you. You will be assisted for you luggage, and informed about the tour. Our goal is to provide you exact what you desire, Also if you are on a business trip, or a transfer to the cruise-boats terminals port, or train station. The vehicle will be air-conditioned and comfortable and the driver flexible to re-schedule your tour. Usually, we begin with the major attractions, driving on the way from airport to down-town, Hippocrates medical monument, the Marathon foot race of Athens classic authentic road-distance, the Panathinaic-Olympic stadium, Zeus Temple, the Acropolis hill, and more.

You will admire the monumental Russian Orthodox Church, the Jewish synagogue, the ancient secret road of the Panathinaea. In the nearby area you;ll have the opportunity to see several more famous sites. Several photo-shooting short stops are planned, at the best spots of the attractions to take pictures. You will hear insightful commentary about the attractions and suggestions for other visit-worth sites, or shopping and restaurants for lunch. Highly recommended, is the longer possible tour-version, in order to make the short overview of Athens comprehensive.
