Tour overview

The tour is private and in small groups of 14 persons max. We will take you in a air-conditioned Van or mini-bus, in safety and comfort at the most popular destinations and world heritage UNESCO sights of Greece. The itinerary is: Athens - Corinth - Epidaurus - Mycenae, drive through Tripolis, Megalopolis to Olympia (night-stay). Visit of Olympia, the Olympia museum, and afternoon drive to Patras, Rio and Delphi (night-stay). This tour combines a pleasant journey in the colorful landscapes of Greece, and the visit of famous attractions: Corinth, Epidaurus, Mycenae, Olympia, Delphi and Athens.

What to expect

A qualified driver-guide will inform you about the every tour-detail and will take you in safety and comfort at the tour destinations. The first day will be at Corinth, the spectacular view of the canal and the Saint Paul biblical city. Then Argolis, at some of the most visited and popular attractions, like Epidaurus, the Asklepeios medical cult center with it's most famous theater of ancient Greece, and finally at the prehistoric citadel of golden Mycenae. You will see the magnificent and elegant Olympia, drive over the fascinating Trikoupis hanging Bridge, from Peloponnese to mainland and arrive at Delphi. Exploring the magnificent sites, monuments and the museum. Return to Athens to end the 3-day tour. The itinerary is flexible and the tour-program hereunder, is the suggested.

Day 1

Depart from Athens. Your driver-guide will take you to Corinth canal for the first stop. You will enjoy the breathtaking views and take pictures. Nearby is the ancient Corinth, where you'll see the major attractions, like the archaic Apollo Temple, the Bema of apostle Paul, the ancient Amphitheater etc. Next stop is at Epidaurus, cult and medical center of the ancient world, famous for the splendid theater with it's phenomenal acoustics. From Epidaurus and Nafplio, arrive at Mycenae to the legendary Homeric prehistoric citadel Acropolis and the Kings Tombs. After visiting the arch.-site, and the Atreas tomb, drive through Arcadia enjoying the amazing mountain views and unique nature, we will arrive at Olympia.

Day 2

After breakfast we will make the tour of all of the Olympia sites. The Zeus temple, stadium, Herodis fountain, Philipeion, the Palaistra, the Gymnasion and more. You will hear the insightful commentary of your driver-guide in prior, and you can independently stroll around the attractions at your own pace and no rush. The visit of the Olympia museum is a dazzling experience. You will admire the creations of the worlds best ever artist, like the statues of Nike made by Paionios, Goddess of Victory, that still decorates one side of the Olympic winners medals, the Hermes statue, work of the Athenian sculptor Praxitelis. Depart from Olympia, heading to mainland again, you will be amazed by the size of the impressive bridge at Rio - Antirio. Arrive in Delphi and enjoy the local traditional delicacies dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast you'll enjoy the amazing mountain views, the olives valley and unique nature of Delphi. A very integrated commentary from your driver guide, will inform you about the myths, history and legends of the site, attractions and the oracle, you will walk independently around the attractions and take pictures. You'll walk at the cult-site, the Apollo temple, the theater, the treasures that ever were stuffed with precious items, the stadion. The Castalia spring is nearby and across at o lower level the ruins of several more monuments. At the Delphi museum you can see a lot of very interest artifacst of the ancient cult, like the bronze statue of Charioteer, the archaic twins statues of Cleovis and Veeton, the Naxian Sphinx and Antnoos. After a lunch you we depart heading back to Athens. Drive through Voioteia, the cities of Levadia and Voiotia, we will arrive in Athens. Drop-off at your place of stay.
